Importance of Vocal Training for Young Singers
Many people think that voice training is only for adults or teens, and it’s true that older students can be given more in terms of technique, but kids can massively benefit from foundational vocal training! Early vocal training helps to train musicianship, set up foundational vocal principles, and prevent bad vocal habits from taking root early in life. If there’s a child in your life that loves to sing, this is the place for them!
Singing is the perfect way to get kids started in music. Learning to sing boosts self confidence, improves musical ability, provides an outlet for self-expression, promotes a sense of well-being by relieving stress, and improves breathing and aerobic activity. It is also a wonderful way to promote community and a sense of belonging by singing together in a group setting.

Reviews
“Perennial Voice has provided a safe place for my 9 year old to take her first ever singing lessons outside of school chorus. We signed up for summer lessons and soon after my daughter quickly wanted more! Jessica gave her such confidence in her abilities that she felt uninhibited to try new things. My daughter received a lot of attention, gentle encouragement, and really good feedback. We’re very thankful that the lessons with Perennial Voice have been such a positive experience will also help her cultivate skills throughout her entire life.”

“This was my daughter’s first experience with singing lessons and Jessica was an amazing teacher. She was patient and encouraging, guiding her through the basics of voice. By the last session, my daughter had learned a new song and was eager to begin a second class along with her brother. We look forward to working with Jessica in the future!”
